    Best BBQ chicken in the world. I went to college here and I'm in Newark weekly and no place comes close to McWharters in terms of taste or value. It's easily one of the top 10 places in NJ to eat if you are on a budget

    Not the best salads (Iceberg hybrid basics) but it's an affordable sit down or takeout full of food (definitely BBQ chicken, I eat poultry and fish only) that can feed two easily. It's where I go when I want to be a cheap fat girl for a day. And it's good!
